The Twilight Cruise is the perfect way to end your day of sightseeing in Port Vila. As the sun sets, the busy Bay of Port Vila is transformed into a romantic and magnificent place you’ll never forget. We start the journey from Port Vila harbour where you will board our 15m long Catamaran, called Vaka Motu. This traditional Polynesian canoe has been designed especially for inter-islands journeys and is entirely environmentally sustainable. It runs on wind, solar panels and coconut oil-powered engine.
While we are sailing along the beautiful coastline of Port Vila you will have time to absorb the thousand different shades of crystal-clear turquoise water. Learn about the cultural history of Vanuatu from your English-speaking guide, drink Kava, Vanuatu’s traditional drink as you soak in the magnificent sunset only paradise can offer. Kava is a root that has been used ceremonially, medicinally and recreationally for over 2500 years in Polynesia, Melanesia and Micronesia.
The tour starts at 4:30pm and ends at 7:00pm at our mooring, in front of Asco motors and next to the Onyx. The boat can host up to 16 people. Please note that there needs to be a minimum of 4 people to start a tour. The price is 4000VT per person. The tour includes complimentary water, kava and tropical fruits. You will have a personal guide who can tell you all the unique facts about Vanuatu and can point out amazing photo opportunities. Lightweight lifejackets are available onboard if required.
